International Symposium on Airway Diseases: Etiology to Clinic 24 th & 25 th Feb 2012, Gurgaon, INDIA Organized by Daiichi Sankyo India Pharma Pvt. Ltd. (DSIN) Daiichi Sankyo Life Science Research Centre in India (RCI) is a research based drug discovery unit. RCI is a part of Daiichi Sankyo India Pharma Private Limited (DSIN), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Daiichi Sankyo Co. Ltd., Japan. RCI is committed to find new drugs for obstructive diseases of airway like Asthma, COPD and Fibrosis. These diseases have high prevalence and high unmet needs. The symposium is an attempt to showcase RCI management's commitment for research on diseases of respiratory system. Present initiative is aimed at bringing scientists and administrators from academia, industry and government under one roof to share current understanding and find support for drug discovery research in this therapeutic segment.
